Munnet’s musical career sprung at the early age of three when his grandmother Rosa Piñon, a highly sought after and respectable piano professor, taught him the delicacies of playing conciertos. A year after, Munnet made his first appearance at the family’s local community center unabashedly playing in front of a crowd of over three thousand awed listeners.
He later moved from Chicago to Florida and continued his career as a pianist, receiving the first-place award in a state-wide talent search sponsored by Telemundo’s local station Channel 51 at merely 8 years of age.
His passion expanded and his curiosity drove the young and talented artist to research other musical genres, instruments, and techniques, leading him to dive head on into the DJ world, where he could flawlessly combine different beats, manipulate sounds, compose, transition and develop his unique mixes.
Munnet’s multiple talents allow him the flexibility and the ability to mix at all levels; be it as a radio DJ, club, festivals, podcasts, online audience, public and private events specializing in various genres including EDM, techno, house, hip hop, urban, Top 40, ‘80’s and ‘90’s fare, just to mention a few.
DJ Munnet has performed for Fortune 500 companies, International Festivals, Community Fairs, and Private parties providing lasting memories of special events.
He continues to spin in several clubs and concert venues and collaborates on remixes in his favorite genre, EDM.
